| Production of Aristophanes’ comedy, Lysistrata, is scheduled by the Department of Theatre and Drama on the IU Bloomington campus, beginning Friday, Feb. 7, and running Feb. 8 and Feb. 10-15 at the Ruth N. Halls Theater.
Athenian and Spartan men, forever warring, come to see life in a different light when Athenian women launch a powerful weapon of their own: abstinence. Producers warn that, while the play is a Greek comedy of classic proportions, the explicit language and adult situations are intended for mature audiences. A curtain talk is scheduled after the performance.
