IU’s Department of Theatre and Drama presents the zany Scarpino

In Frank Dunlop and Jim Dale’s zany Scarpino–A long way off from Moliere, two wealthy young Italians, having fallen in love with girls their fathers would never approve of, enlist the aid of Scarpino, the wisest of witty servants. Based upon Moliere’s Les Fourberies de Scapin, which was first produced in 1671, the slapstick comedy, complete with mistaken identities, mixed-up lovers and parental confusion, will be produced by IU Bloomington’s Department of Theatre and Drama in the new Wells-Metz Theater March 22, 23, 25 and 30.
