IU President Adam Herbert will deliver his inaugural State of the University address Sept. 14 in conjunction with the first meeting of the University Faculty Council. Those unable to attend may listen to a live telecast at IU campus sites throughout the state.
Unavoidable costs for employee benefits, utilities and insurance, outside mandates and regulatory compliance, and increasing competition for faculty are all challenges to the Bloomington campus, Chancellor Ken Gros Louis told the BFC Sept. 7.
