• The IUB Muslim Student Union is hosting its annual “Fast-a-thon” during
the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, with proceeds going to the Bloomington
Community Kitchen. Muslims and non-Muslims fasting from dawn to
sunset Tuesday, Oct. 26, with a break-fast dinner at 6 p.m. at

• Entries for the Whitewater Valley Annual Art Competition at
IU East will be accepted Nov.1-5. This year’s juror is Michael
Johnson, curatorial associate of modern and contemporary art at
the Denver Art Museum. Accepted entries will be on exhibit from
