| On Saturday, Nov 13, the Kinsey Institute for Research on Sex, Gender and Reproduction will be hosting a reception and special presentation of the Fox Searchlight Pictures’ film, Kinsey.
The event will take place at the IU Auditorium on the Bloomington campus from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. An opening reception will be followed by remarks by IUB Chancellor Kenneth Gros Louis and actor Liam Neeson, who portrays Alfred Kinsey in the film. Laura Linney, who plays his wife, Clara Kinsey, and other members of the film’s cast are expected to be in attendance.
After the film’s screening at 8 p.m., the film’s director, Bill Condon, and Julia Heiman, director of the Kinsey Institute, will answer questions that have been submitted in advance to the Kinsey Web site (see Web address at end of story).
Reservations are available at the following levels:
• $50 per person (which includes preferred orchestra seating for the film; attendance at special reception immediately preceding the film);
• $1,000 as a Kinsey Institute Benefactor (which includes two tickets to the film and an invitation to a private reception featuring Condon, Neeson, Linney and other cast).
