• The Bloomington Professional Council’s fall forum is Wednesday (Nov. 14) from 8-9 a.m. at the DeVault Alumni Center. IU Vice President Judy Palmer and Dan Rives, interim director of University Human Resource Services, will attend to answer questions about IU’s strategic direction and fiscal plan, and how it will affect staff; and staff evaluations and policies.

• George Kuh, Chancellors’ Professor in teaching and research at the School of Education at IUB, will present the 2001 Tracy M. Sonneborn Lecture Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 4:30 p.m. at the Whittenberger Auditorium, Indiana Memorial Union, IUB. A reception will follow at the University Club.
