I enjoy working with others to help them overcome obstacles, especially those that are familiar to me, and better understand IU and all it has to offer. Hi and welcome to FASE!
My name is Alejandro Argüello and I am a senior majoring in Economic Consulting through the Business Economics and Public Policy Department at the Kelley School of Business. I was born and raised in Managua, Nicaragua where I lived for seventeen years until I left the country to pursue my bachelor's degree in the US. Despite being a dual citizen, transitioning from Nicaragua to the US was not easy. The experience taught me really valuable lessons like how to cope with adverse settings; or how to better adapt to changing environments, and a whole other range of experiences I hope to share with you as a mentor and friend. On the other side, I am a very active person who is fanatically in loved with soccer and meeting new people! Upon graduation I hope to go into the consulting field where I hope to be challenged once again and gain a whole new set of experiences! Thanks for reading and I hope to meet you soon!

Hello!
Welcome to the FASE program! I have been a peer mentor since 2011, and I am very excited to meet you! I was born and raised in Russia until I was 14 years old when I moved to Schaumburg, IL, with pretty limited English language capabilities. Four years later, I was fluent and thrilled to arrive at the beautiful campus of Indiana University.
I am now majoring in Marketing and Entrepreneurship through Kelley School of Business with a minor in Russian. Sadly, this is my last year at Indiana University, but I have encountered many different experiences during my time here that helped me grow as a student, a friend, and a mentor. I am a devoted Indiana Basketball fan and a campus tour guide. I can't wait to hear about your experiences and interests, and I make a promise to do my best to answer any questions, help in difficult situations, or just be there when you need someone to talk!
