- The Women of Color Conference will be held on the campus of Indiana University, located close to downtown Bloomington, Indiana, about 50 miles south of Indianapolis, Indiana.

3. LODGING
NOTE: March 22, 2009 is the cut off deadline for hotel reservations with the Crowne Plaza, Comfort Inn and Hampton Inn. After these dates reservations will be accepted on a space and rate available basis only.
15 rooms at both the Crowne Plaza
and Comfort Inn, 5 rooms (4 of which are smoking rooms) at the Hampton Inn have been reserved to host participants of the Women of Color Leadership ' Conference, . The Crowne Plaza
will charge $109.00 per night, Comfort Inn will charge $99.00 per night, and the Hampton Inn will charge $139 per night

Contact the hotel directly. Inform the reservation staff person that you are attending the Women of Color Conference. Unless you identify yourself as a conference participant, you may be unable to obtain a room.
We encourage you to make your reservations early as accommodations are often difficult to secure during this busy time of year. 5. PARKING ON CAMPUS
The most convenient parking will be in the lot across the street from the Neal-Marshall
Black Culture center. Parking is free on Saturday. Parking validation available
for Friday, April 3rd.
6. LOCAL TIME ZONE
Bloomington is on Eastern Standard Time. At the time of the Women of Color Conference, Bloomington will be on same time as New York City, the East Coast of the United States and one hour ahead of Chicago.
