Provided Primary Eye Care, Glaucoma and Diabetic Eye Disease Diagnosis, Treatment, and Management, Pre- and Post-Operative Cataract care, and participated in Referral and Surgical Co-Management of patients requiring further Ophthalmologic specialty services through Retina, Oculo-Plastics, Glaucoma, and Neuro-Ophthalmology Clinics. I provided weekly Low Vision Evaluations at either the Akron or the Cleveland Blind Rehabilitation Centers as well as Post-Surgical Contact Lens Fittings at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. Attended weekly Ophthalmology Grand Rounds at Case-Western Reserve University School of Medicine and individual week long Medical Rounds with various departments within the Cleveland VAMC. Additionally as part of my post-graduate residency program I studied the Vascular Theories of the Development of Glaucoma or what has become to be known as Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy.
