Serve others while getting to know IU's campus and the city of Bloomington.
You will examine social issues, discover community resources, and realize your
leadership potential by taking the Community Plunge. Build a solid foundation
by giving to the community before you even begin life as a college student.
This five day pre-Welcome Week event provides first-year students with an overview of the
community, campus, and local not-for-profit
agencies. With a busy agenda of service, reflection, workshops, speakers, and
fun, you will have the time of your life, while developing lasting friendships
with other first-year students.
Please note: This program runs from Friday through Tuesday without "down
time". You will be occupied with program events the entire time. There will be
no exceptions granted for outside commitments.
