So Ill Climbing: Rockclimbing and Caving, Southern Illinois

Destined as one of the Midwest's premier and here-to-fore unknown rock climbing areas, we will head to Southern Illinois for three days of on, over, and under-rock adventures!

Namely, Jackson Falls and Garden of the Gods will be our base for the rock climbing section of this trip. The area is slowly coming into America's knowledge as an excellent climbing destination, and for good reason: the climbing is fun, varied, and still not as populated as other Midwest climbing areas. We will also get to explore Southern Illinois's interesting topography from below ground, as we spend one of our days getting muddy and wet in a local cave checking out the stalagmites and stalactites before we wash off in a local lake. Just a few hours away from Bloomington, Southern Illinois rock climbing and caving is an excellent way to kick off your college career!

Dates: August 27-22 (Arrive to campus on the 17th, depart campus for trip on the 18th)
Cost: $265.00
