For strategic partners, we offer radio and TV broadcasting, audio and video streaming, videography, multimedia presentations, CD and DVD development, and more.

Services

Audio and Video Production
We develop a wide range of multimedia products for campuses and units involved in strategic marketing initiatives. We design material for broadcast distribution, as well as VHS videotape, audio, CD-ROM, and the Web. We also hire and direct production crews, and all footage and graphics are assembled in house. Three-dimensional modeling, animation, and compositing are all available, and the studio features all digital audio mixdown.

Audio and Video Web Streaming
We produce audio and streaming events that are featured on broadcast.iu.edu.

Broadcast News and Media Assistance
When media are unable to travel to Bloomington, we assist with broadcast coverage of campus news. We can make arrangements for on-location videotaping and distribution, or live coverage via satellite up-links and teleconferencing. We work in close collaboration with the media relations team, and we often utilize the technical facilities of Radio and Television Services.

IU Update Series
A major ongoing activity for us is the production of short half-time shows during athletic events. The series features brief stories about Indiana University, its faculty, students, and alumni. IU Update has won CASE's Silver Award twice, and it is generally regarded by sports networks as the best use of airtime by any Big Ten school during athletic broadcasts.

Consulting and Special Projects
We consult on electronic media projects and, when appropriate, produce materials that support IU's university-wide marketing campaigns, undergraduate recruitment at the campus and school level, strategic marketing plans, and special initiatives.
