IUB Student Awarded Gilman Scholarship

Indiana University Bloomington student Caroline Ellert was recently awarded a $4,000 Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to study in Rwanda during the fall 2014 semester.  Caroline is a junior majoring in English and Political Science.

IU Bloomington student Isaiah Derek Sloss was selected as an alternate for a fall 2014 Gilman Scholarship. Isaiah is a senior Human Biology major who will be studying in Wollongong, Australia during the fall 2014 semester.

The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and administered by the Institute of International Education.
