Overseas Study Launches Online "Study Abroad 101"

March 21, 2016

The Office of Overseas Study has launched a new electronic resource that provides information to students who wish to learn about studying abroad at IU. The online presentation, "Study Abroad 101," starts with a basic overview of the types of study abroad opportunities available to Indiana University students. The next section, "Choosing a Program," explains structural differences between programs to help students research and select an international experience that best fits their interests. Additional sections cover how to apply, how to prepare for their time abroad, and how to find additional resources.

The online presentation replaces our weekly, in-person presentation of the same name and information. Students who prefer in-person guidance are always welcome to visit our office during walk-in hours.

I gained an enhanced view of the world. I was forced to look at American problems from an international perspective.”
