MINORITY SCHOLARSHIPS
Overseas Study
need-based Minority Scholarships are available for all IU-administered
programs. Applications
are due by your program application deadline. Also check Other

Overseas Study offers scholarships to under-represented
U.S. racial/ethnic minority undergraduates from any IU campus who are making
normal degree progress and are accepted to participate in the IU-administered
study abroad programs listed below. Financial need and academic performance
are considered. Scholarship amounts range from $300 to $400 for short-term
programs, from $1,000 to $1,500 for summer programs, from $1,500 to $2,000
for semester programs, and $2,000 to $3,000 for academic year programs.

In order to recognize the importance of international internships in non-traditional locations, the Office of the Vice President for International Affairs has created special grants for the IU-administered and co-sponsored programs below for spring 2009 programs. Financial need and academic performance are considered. Grants are for $2,500.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS FROM OTHER IU CAMPUSES
Overseas Study
Scholarships are available to students enrolled at IUPUI and the other IU
campuses for all IU-administered programs. Applications
are due by your program application deadline.
David Starr Jordan Scholarships are
available to students on the six regional campuses (IPFW, IUE, IUK, IUN, IUS,
IUSB) who participate in credit-bearing programs that have been approved by
the IU Overseas Study Advisory Council and are offered by their own
campuses. These scholarships are named after
David Starr
Jordan, the president of Indiana University who led study tours abroad
in the 19th century. Details about David Starr Jordan Scholarships are
