*Spring students have the option of remaining for the third trimester which
ends in late June / early July. Students enroll in 3 ESCI classes or 2 ESCI courses and a Spanish language class. Students who choose this option are
required to pay a supplemental fee. See staff for more details.

English and Spanish at the CIEE study center or the
International School of Commerce (ESCI) courses in English or Spanish with Spanish students (depending on language level)

COURSE LOAD
- 16 IU credits applicable to Business degree
- 4 credits in Spanish Language (intensive for the first 3 weeks)

12 credits in CIEE program and ESCI business courses (at least 1 business course)
HOUSING

ADDITIONAL PROGRAM INFORMATION
ELIGIBILITY
You may apply if you
- are a student at any Indiana University campus who is making
normal academic progress,
- are in at least your third full-time semester of college,
- are a business major or minor or LAMP student,
- have taken or are enrolled in at least
fourth semester Spanish, and
- have
approximately a 3.0 cumulative GPA and a B average in Spanish.
Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures
of the Office of Overseas Study.
Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose,
and appropriateness of match between program and applicant.
Students on disciplinary probation during program period are not eligible.
Business majors must have completed (or will complete) E201, E202 and the Business Integrative Core (or equivalent coursework at an IU campus outside Bloomington) and have a 3.0 GPA.
Liberal Arts and Management Program (LAMP) students must have completed BUS K201 and ECON E201 and E202.
ESTIMATED SPRING 2010 COSTS
- IU portion of fee: $640
- CIEE portion of fee: $14,725*
(includes tuition, board, orientation, medical insurance,
field trips, 2 meals per day in the homestay option)
Initial prepayment of $500 due Oct. 26 for spring 2010; March for fall
