ELIGIBILITY
You may apply if you
-
are a student admitted to the IU
Hutton Honors College who is making normal academic progress,
-
are in at least your fourth full-time semester
of college, and
-
have
approximately a 3.3 cumulative GPA.
No Chinese language required.
Complete eligibility criteria and selection
criteria are outlined within the
Academic Policies and Procedures of the Office of Overseas Study. Selection
is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match
between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during
program period are not eligible.
ESTIMATED SPRING 2008 COSTS
- Fee paid to IU: $650
- Fee paid to IES: $10,230*
(tuition,
health insurance,
room and some meals)
- Other meals: $1,250
Initial prepayment of $500 due October 29 for spring.
Airfare, personal expenses and vacation travel additional.
* Special Discounted IES fee for IU students
FINANCIAL AID
- IU scholarships, grants and loans applicable to program costs with some
exceptions. Please carefully check
these exceptions before you commit to a program.

APPLICATION DEADLINES
Spring 2008: September 24, 2007
IU committee screens applications for IES final approval. Notification of
application status sent electronically within
four weeks of application deadline.
