3-credit Modular course covering: Economic and Political Environment in China; Chinese Organizational Culture and HR mangement; Marketing in China; Multinational Companies' Strategy in China
Case discussion and debates to engage student participation
Interaction with local students gives a chance to get a broad picture of China
Basic Mandarin course helps students to navigate during their stay in Beijing
Three company visits with transportation provided

ADDITIONAL PROGRAM INFORMATION

ELIGIBILITY

You may apply if you

are a student at any Indiana University who is making normal academic progress,
are in at least your second full-time semester of college, and
have approximately a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
are an admitted Kelley School of Business or LAMP student

No Chinese language required.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of the Office of Overseas Study. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are not eligible.

ESTIMATED SUMMER 2009 COSTS

Fee paid to IU: $335 (administrative fees, health insurance premium)
Tuition and fees paid to Peking University: $3,363* (tuition, breakfasts and daily tea breaks, cultural excursions and company visits, and all texts and readings)
Additional meals: $150 - $200

FINANCIAL AID

IU scholarships, grants and loans applicable to program costs only if you are enrolled in 6 credits in IU summer sessions, with some exceptions. Please carefully check these exceptions before you commit to a program.
