15 IU credits
- 3-credit conversational Hungarian course
- Courses in East and Central European economics, politics, history, culture, and social issues taught in English by Budapest University faculty for CIEE students only (3 credits each)
- Courses in business and economics at Corvinus University (3 credits each)
- Optional internship (3 credits)

ADDITIONAL PROGRAM INFORMATION

ELIGIBILITY

You may apply if you

are a student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress,
are in at least your third full-time semester of college,
are taking (or have taken) 2 courses in economics, history or a social science, and
have approximately a 2.75 cumulative GPA.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of the Office of Overseas Study. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are not eligble.

ESTIMATED FALL 2010 COSTS

IU portion of fee: $640
CIEE portion of fee: $9,425*
(includes tuition, housing, medical insurance, visa fees and field trips)
Meals: $1,100
Initial prepayment of $500 due April 5 for fall; Oct. for spring

Airfare, personal expenses and vacation travel additional.
*Special discounted CIEE fee for IU students. Price has been reduced by $1,500 to reflect a guaranteed scholarship from CIEE for Budapest participants.

IU scholarships, grants and loans applicable to program costs with some exceptions. Please carefully check these exceptions before you commit to a program.
