ACADEMIC PROGRAM
- 32 credits in humanities, social sciences, math, physical sciences at
the University of Kent (13,000
students)
- 300-acre campus
- 12-14 IU exchange students
- Complete immersion, all classes with British students
- Most classes are small, with emphasis on essay writing
HOUSING
- Single room in university apartment shared with 3-4 other students
- Single room in one of four residential colleges

ELIGIBILITY
You may apply if you
- are a student at any Indiana University campus who is
making normal academic progress,
- are in at least your fourth full-time semester of college,
- have significant background (9-12 credits)
in a field you can pursue at Kent, and
- have approximately a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures
of the Office of Overseas Study.
Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose,
and appropriateness of match between program and applicant.
Students on disciplinary probation are not eligible.
ESTIMATED 2008-09 COSTS
- Fees paid to IU: (tuition, health insurance, orientation)
- Indiana resident: $9,295
- Nonresident: $18,590
- Room & meals in England: $8,550-$12,550

Initial prepayment of $500 due Mar. 3 for academic year.
Airfare, personal expenses and vacation
travel additional.
