- 30-40 international students (2-5 from IU)
ACADEMIC PROGRAM
- PUCP humanities and social sciences courses with Peruvian students
- Representative courses include:
- Andean or Amazonian ethnography
- Urban anthropology
- Peruvian history
- Geography of Peru
- Peruvian archaeology
- Peruvian literature
- Optional week-long trip to Cuzco, Machu Picchu
COURSE LOAD
- 12-14 IU credits in 4 to 6 direct enrollment courses at PUCP
HOUSING
- Room and meals in Peruvian homes
ADDITIONAL PROGRAM INFORMATION
ELIGIBILITY
You may apply if you
- are a student at any Indiana University campus who is
making normal academic progress,
- are in at least your fourth full-time semester of college,
- have taken or are enrolled in at least two 300-level Spanish courses,
- demonstrate self-reliance, resilience, and flexibility, and
- have approximately a cumulative 3.0 overall and Spanish GPA.
Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures
of the Office of Overseas Study.
Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose,
and appropriateness of match between program and applicant.
Students on disciplinary probation during program period are not eligible.
ESTIMATED FALL 2008 COSTS
- Fee paid to IU (tuition, health insurance)
- Indiana resident: $3,915
- Nonresident: $8,985
Initial prepayment of $500 due upon
acceptance.
- Room, meals: $1,750 - 1,900
