ACADEMIC PROGRAM
COURSE LOAD
- 14 IU Business and General Education credits
-
One
business and economic course taught in English for U.S. students by
Dutch faculty at CES (3 credits)
-
Two
courses with Dutch and other European students at the University of
Maastricht (4 credits each)
-
One course
in Intercultural Communication, including Dutch language and culture
component (3 credits)
- Study
trips and excursions (to, for example, Amsterdam and Brussels) are
included in the program fee
-
Optional online
course on globalization taught by Kelley faculty (additional tuition
fees apply)
- Satisfies Kelley School of Business International Dimension requirement

HOUSING
- Shared dormitory rooms for international students (single rooms

ADDITIONAL PROGRAM INFORMATION
ELIGIBILITY
You may apply if you
- are a student at any Indiana University campus who is
making normal academic progress,
- are a business major or are admitted to the Liberal Arts and Management Program (LAMP)*,
- have completed (or will complete) E201, E202 and the Business Integrative Core (or equivalent coursework at an IU campus outside Bloomington), and
- have
approximately a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures
of the Office of Overseas Study.
Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose,
and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary
probation during program period are not eligible.
*LAMP students must have completed BUS K201, ECON E201 and E202
ESTIMATED SPRING 2008 COSTS
- Fee paid to IU (tuition**, housing, CES textbook,
health insurance, Dutch residency permit, refundable damage deposit)
- Indiana resident: $8,941
- Nonresident: $13,000
- Meals: $1,400
Initial prepayment of $500 due Oct. 29 for spring; Mar. 18 for fall.
Airfare, personal expenses and vacation travel additional.
**Fall semester fees vary significantly. Fall 2007 fee paid to IU:
Indiana resident $10,004; Nonresident $12,005
