PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION
ACADEMIC PROGRAM
SPRING COURSE LOAD
- 14 IU Business and General Education credits
- Two CES courses, taught in English by Dutch faculty for U.S. students; select from business and economics courses and Intercultural Communication, including Dutch language and culture component (3 credits each)
- Two courses with Dutch and other European students at the University of Maastricht (4 credits each)
- Study trips and excursions (to, for example, Amsterdam and Brussels) are included in the program fee
- Optional online course on globalization taught by Kelley faculty (additional tuition fees apply)
HOUSING
- Shared dormitory rooms for international students (single rooms
available for additional cost)
ADDITIONAL PROGRAM INFORMATION
ELIGIBILITY
You may apply if you
- are a student at any Indiana University campus who is
making normal academic progress,
- are a business major or are admitted to the Liberal Arts and Management Program (LAMP)*,
- have completed (or will complete) E201, E202 and the Business Integrative Core (or equivalent coursework at an IU campus outside Bloomington), and
- have
approximately a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures
of the Office of Overseas Study.
Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose,
and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary
probation during program period are not eligible.
*LAMP students must have completed BUS K201, ECON E201 and E202
ESTIMATED SPRING 2010 COSTS
- Fee paid to IU (tuition**, housing, 5-day study trip, CES textbook, health insurance, Dutch residency permit, refundable damage deposit)
- Indiana resident: $11,217
- Nonresident: $15,935
- Meals $1,400 - $2,000
Initial prepayment of $500 due Oct. 26 for spring 2010; March for fall
