ELIGIBILITY
You may apply if you
- are a student at any IU campus who is making normal academic
progress,*
- are in at least your fourth full-time semester of college, and
- have approximately a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
No Italian required for beginning track, but two semesters are required for intermediate track.

*Business majors must have completed (or will complete) E201, E202 and the Business Integrative Core (or equivalent coursework at an IU campus outside Bloomington); Liberal Arts and Management Program (LAMP) students must have completed BUS K201 and ECON E201 and E202.

Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose,
and appropriateness of match between program and applicant.
Students on disciplinary probation during program period are not eligible.

Initial prepayment of $500 due October 26 for spring; March for fall

* Special Discounted IES fee for IU students
**IES fees cover up to 600 Euros (approx. $850) per student for outside enrollment costs;
students are responsible for all additional expenses. Depending on the type of outside courses,
students may have to pay up to $1,000 for one outside course. Invoicing for this additional
amount may occur after student is abroad.
