Special courses and mainstreaming at Humboldt-Universitat requires 4-5 semesters of German. Internships and Housing with Germans. A second program in Berlin, Metropolitan studies, offers courses on art, urban studies, sociology, German and a few other electives, witih no language required.

Boston University
Internship program with opportunities in international relations, business, human services, theatre and television, among others. Combines internship with mainstream courses at Technische Universität Dresden. Requires advanced German language skills and housing with international students.
