The Fulbright Scholar Program is funded by the U.S. Department of State and administered by the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars. It offers around 800 awards annually to U.S. faculty, librarians, and professionals to lecture and/or conduct research abroad. Positions are available in nearly 130 countries and in virtually all disciplines, from the arts and humanities, social sciences, natural and applied sciences, to professional fields such as business, journalism, law, library science, medicine/health sciences and public administration.

Deadlines: Availability of awards announced in the spring. Deadlines vary based on award program. Applications for Core Scholars program are due early August.
