Recommendation 7
The University should accelerate planning for a converged telecommunications infrastructure. Specific attention must be given to improving the state of the inter-campus networks, planning for and deployment of adequate commodity Internet connectivity, a university-wide base level of telecommunications connectivity, advanced networking infrastructure and applications, wireless networks and support for multimedia and streaming media.
