Appropriate university-wide desktop connectivity is the critical link to ensure faculty, staff & students can fully & properly utilize regional, national & international high performance networks to access the world’s information assets
This needs to be implemented on a planned, prioritized, multi-year basis with full life-cycle funding for all components of the campus IP network (remembering telephony is converging to IP as well)
