Get Connected!
As part of the "Empowerment Project" of The Office for Women's Affairs' (OWA) an opportunity is being extended for female faculty members, staff, and students on campus to get connected in ways that enhance professional as well as personal development. The goal is to help campus women to feel better about and find their way through the campus system.
Examples of such informal networks include new administrators, cross-stitching, quilting groups, photographers, tenure-track women, recently-tenured women, cooking, single parenting, senior women, women of color, writing circles, reading groups, artists, musicians, feminists, professional groups of staff women, groups of faculty and staff women connected in support of IU athletic or fitness issues, women in science, departmental professionals, etc.
