The mission of Office for Women’s Affairs is to promote and further gender equity and personal security on the Indiana University campus. We do this by offering a variety of services to students, staff, and faculty.

Striving to improve gender equity in the sciences, technology, and mathematics programs Identifying issues affecting women and the achievement of equity of opportunity in other areas Resolving grievances and complaints concerning disparate treatment, harassment, or threats to personal safety on campus Providing education on sexual harassment, sexual assault, and other aspects of personal safety Advocating for women with concerns about salary, promotion, and tenure; career development strategies; personal-professional life conflicts; campus climate; and workplace conflict Taking steps to promote family-friendly policies for staff, faculty, and students
