Government Lab Symposium

The Government Lab Symposium is a special event of invited talks from US national labs. Each talk will provide an overview of the lab's facility and present on collaboration opportunities and review scientific libraries and software used in research in the area of CFD modelling and simulation. These presentations may also describe the current state of the art in computing at scale at these facilities. Presentations will be followed by a panel for answering questions.

Indianapolis Motor Speedway Tour

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway first opened in 1909 with balloon races followed by motorcycle races, however, it became famous for the Indianapolis 500 mile race. The 102nd –500 mile race will be run on Sunday, May 27, 2018. The ParCFD 2018 participants will be transported to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, watch the Indy cars practice for the Indy 500 and/or visit the museum (per own purchase of ticket(s)). Today the Indianapolis Motor Speedway hosts a number of races including the Red Bull Air Race, INDYCAR Grand Prix, 102 Running of the Indy 500, Brickyard Vintage Invitational, and the Brickyard 400.
