Lauren R. Miller

I am a third year PhD student in the Department of History. My primary research interests include Britain and Spain in the 18th and 19th century Atlantic world and how they relate to questions of identity and empire. Besides British history, I am also interested in pedagogical research pertaining to history classes in research universities.
Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, I attended Tufts University as an undergraduate, majoring in International Relations. During my senior year in high school I lived in Spain through a study-abroad program and had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Europe, including Paris, but have yet to visit Berlin.
