Teddies For Tots...
Teddies for Tots was created in 2007 by Allison Cully and her committee. It is a philanthropy that not only raises money for Children's Miracle Network but also gives teddy bears to kids at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. Phi Mu raised money by asking chapters in the Greek community to "sponsor" bears by donating $100 for 10 bears. This year we raised $1,700 and were able to buy over 200 bears that were taken to sick children at the Riley Children's Hospital.
Each member of Phi Mu created personal handmade cards that were then attached to each of the bears. Our Philanthropy's goal is to make a sick kids day a little brighter with a teddy bear and card of encouragement. We are hoping that each year Teddies for Tots reaches more people in the community and is able to provide even more teddy bears.
