| The Malvern Instruments Zetasizer Nano-S dynamic light scattering instrument provides unequaled sensitivity and versatility in the determination of molecular weight and particle size distributions. The unique NIBS (Non-Invasive Back Scatter) technology employed allows routine measurements of particles ranging from 0.6 nm to 6 microns and molecular weight determinations from 1000 to 2 x 107 Daltons, all with sample volumes as low as 12 microliters. The comprehensive analysis software calculates particle size distributions based on scattering intensity, volume, and number density as well as polydispersity. The instrument may be used to characterize sample purity, aggregations, large conformational changes, and screening for crystallization. |
