The conference will kick off on June 27 at 5 pm with an opening reception and keynote address by Brint Milward of The University of Arizona on "Dark Networks: Insurgency as an Ecology of Games."
Conference proceedings start Friday morning with a complimentary continental breakfast from 8 to 9:00 am. We will also have our traditional mentoring luncheon on Friday from 12:30 to 2:00 pm.
Research panel sessions start at 9:00 am and run until 3:30 pm. We will reconvene at 4 pm for a second plenary presentation by Chris McCarty of the University of Florida on "Public Health and Networks." A reception and poster session follows at 5:30 pm.
We have two scheduled sessions for Saturday morning followed by lunch and a plenary talk by Robert Huckfeldt of UC Davis on "Political Networks: The State of the Science". The conference will conclude with an early afternoon business meeting from 2 to 3 pm.
The conference will have twenty research panels and a special poster session organized into five thematic sections.
