Participant Information
Robing Instructions
Robing will begin at 1:30 p.m.
The procession will begin promptly at 2:40 p.m.
Delegates
All delegates will robe in the Wildermuth Gym. Red and white signs will be posted at key spots on campus, showing you the way.
Delegates representing other colleges and universities, associations and foundations, and learned societies will provide their own academic apparel, unless other arrangements have been made in advance with the Office of University Ceremonies.
Delegates representing the eight campuses of Indiana University may wear their own apparel or regalia provided by University Ceremonies. The latter will be available in the Wildermuth Gym.
Deans and Faculty
Deans and faculty will also robe in Wildermuth Gym. Faculty who have their own apparel may wear it; faculty wearing attire provided by University Ceremonies will find it in Wildermuth Gym.
IU Bloomington faculty who have ordered apparel may pick it up on October 16 and 17 at the IU Bookstore (IMU location) if they wish, or it will be in Wildermuth Gym the day of the ceremony.
Valuables and Personal Belongings
The Wildermuth Gym is a large and heavily used facility. Although we will have limited capacity to secure personal effects, we ask that you do not bring unnecessary valuables to the robing room.
Platform Party
Members of the platform party will robe in the lounge of the Lilly Library. Instructions will be sent under separate cover.
