IU Research and Teaching Preserve
On Saturday, November 8, 2008, 17 volunteers came out to Moores Creek to assist the IU Research and Teaching Preserve staff with an environmental cleanup. The ravine at the recently expanded entrance area to Moores Creek has accumulated various forms of garbage over the years, including a 1957 Chevy! The preserve staff and volunteers cleaned up this area and restored it to a more pristine state. The group worked hard and at the end of the day, a dumpster full of debris was hauled away.
