Environmentally friendly septic system

Presby Enviro Septic is a type of absorption and secondary treatment system that uses 12"-diameter perforated pipes wrapped with a special fabric that promotes and hosts bacterial growth. Once established, this "controlled bio-mat" cleans the effluent as it passes through the fabric.

Benefits of on-site wastewater treatment include:

  • Localization of treatment and dispersal--eliminating long distance transport of wastewater to treatment plants and purified water back to point of origin
  • Recycling of wastewater, recharging groundwater within the watershed
  • Reduction of water consumption and wastewater discharge
