Lauren Robel is Provost and Executive Vice President of Indiana University. The Office of the Provost provides academic leadership for the campus, and supports faculty and student initiatives that enhance the quality of education at IU Bloomington, a research institution renowned for its global, multidisciplinary programs.
Shannon E. Martin, a professor in the IU School of Journalism, has been named associate vice provost for faculty and academic affairs at Indiana University Bloomington. Martin will serve as the liaison for the campus-level Promotion Advisory Committee, develop faculty workshops and the New Faculty Orientation program, and meet with individual faculty members to discuss career development.
