Women in Science Student Group

The Women in Science Student Group was established by the Women in Science Program (WISP).

The primary purpose of the student group is to support women in science by creating a positive environment for group members to interact. In addition, the group will reach out to other women and girls in the community to encourage them to pursue futures in science.

Group activities include social events and community service opportunities. Participation is both fun and rewarding.

Are you a woman pursuing or planning to pursue a future in science?

  • Join the student group by e-mailing wisp [at] indiana.edu
  • Check for events at the WISP website.

Psychology and neuroscience majors have frequently won awards for their research at this event, which is held each year in mid-March.
