Research Assistantship

Supervised Research courses (P493, P494) allow you to earn course credit while you work on a team to collect data that will be published in scientific journals.

You'll benefit from a personal mentoring relationship with a faculty member and interaction with other highly motivated psychology majors and graduate students.

You must first apply for a research assistant position in a faculty member's lab before you can enroll in P493/P494. Learn more about research opportunities and how to enroll in Supervised Research course.

Students who want to earn an Honors Degree are encouraged to enroll in Supervised Research courses in their sophomore year if possible or - at the latest - at the start of their junior year.
