Neuroscience Certificate

A student may earn a Neuroscience Certificate as part of completing the bachelor's degree and in addition to completing requirements for a major. Through course work and lab experiences in this interdisciplinary certificate program, students will develop an in-depth understanding in neuroscience, from the cellular and molecular bases of nervous system function, to a systems-level approach to the study of brain-behavior relationships.

It is highly recommended that students apply for a Neuroscience Certificate after completing at least one Psychology course (P155 or P101 or P106), one Biology course (L112 or H112), and Neuroscience (PSY-P 346). Nonetheless, students do not need to have actually completed all requirements before submitting an application.
