Neuroscience Certificate
A student may earn a Neuroscience Certificate as part of completing the bachelor's degree and in addition to completing requirements for a major. Through course work and lab experiences in this interdisciplinary certificate program, students will develop an in-depth understanding in neuroscience, from the cellular and molecular bases of nervous system function, to a systems-level approach to the study of brain-behavior relationships.
The requirements for all undergraduate degrees are described in the Undergraduate Academic Bulletin. Because the Bulletin describes the requirements in place at a particular time, you must consult the Bulletin that was in effect when you first enrolled at Indiana University as a degree-seeking student. For instance, students entering the university in the summer or fall of 2011 are held to the requirements laid out in the 2011-2012 Bulletin of the College of Arts and Sciences.
