Enterprise Location Consolidated, Pick-up Service Expanded

Starting August 1, the Enterprise Rent-a-Car location at Range Road will be consolidated.  Going forward, Indiana University travelers may choose to rent from two convenient Bloomington locations:

• Enterprise Rent-a-Car at 1601 North College Avenue
• Enterprise Rent-a-Car at 1907 South Walnut Street

In an effort to make the rental process as convenient as possible, Enterprise will expand their "pick-up" option and can arrange to meet you at your office and take you to their rental location.  When you return your rental during business hours, they will chauffeur you back to your office anywhere on campus.  To arrange for pick-up service, make your reservation as normal and contact the appropriate Enterprise location to confirm a pick-up time. 

Our research shows IU travelers prefer to rent from one of these two locations for convenience and for the expanded selection of vehicles.  Contact information for each branch is listed below.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to either office so they can personally assist you with your rental needs. 

Due to the fact that the Range Road location was the only Enterprise office to distribute IU Fuel Cards, travelers should also be aware that fuel cards are no longer available for Enterprise rentals.  The correct procedure is to purchase gasoline with a personal credit card and submit a reimbursement request through Travel Management Services. 

Jump Start Program

For those travelers that have early morning travel plans, you can take advantage of Enterprise's Jump Start Program.  With the Jump Start Program, you can pick up the vehicle anytime between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. the day before your trip and charges will not begin until the following morning at the time you plan on starting your trip. 

For example, if you need to leave Bloomington at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, you can pick up the vehicle between 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. on Tuesday and the charges won't start until Wednesday morning.  You can then return on Wednesday afternoon/evening or Thursday morning by 8:00 a.m. and only be charged for one day of rental.

This is great way to save time and is easy to do.  When making your travel reservation, simply reserve the rental for the time you wish to pick it up the day before (between 4:00pm-6:00pm).  Upon your arrival to the office just let the rental agent assisting you know that charges should start the following morning and Enterprise will take care of the rest.
