E-Waste Recycling Event Collects More than 350 Tons

IUPUI and IU Bloomington hosted a free electronic waste recycling event Thursday, April 30, through Saturday, May 2. Officials estimate that more than 350 tons of e-waste waste were collected.

One hundred percent of the equipment dropped off will be recycled and kept out of landfills. Recycling services were provided by Apple. The event was made possible thanks to a contract with Apple negotiated by the Purchasing Department.
