New Procedure for Posting to Redistribution Listserv

The Resource Redistribution listserv is a valuable tool for staff and faculty to buy, sell, and trade University equipment between departments. In order to preserve the integrity of the listserv and ensure compliance with Purchasing Policy P-14.1, “Sale of Computer Equipment,” redistribution posting procedures will soon change.
In the near future, posts on the Resource Redistribution listserv will be made via a form on the Purchasing Department's website, where users will agree to only sell the item to an IU affiliated department. For any electronic device containing sensitive data, the user must also agree to follow proper procedures for the sale of computer equipment.
The new form is currently in development - Purchasing will notify Redistribution Listserv users when the procedure change is official.
