Historical
Significance
The United States Coast Guard
Cutter Bibb was launched on January 14, 1937 to provide assistance with
protecting the North Atlantic merchant vessels. The Bibb was
decomissioned on September 30,1985. She was
sunk in her final resting place on November 28, 1987 to be used as an
artificial reef off the coast of Key Largo, Florida.
