The Dominicus Beach Resort is located a few short minutes from East National Park. We consider it a gateway to the National Park, and in fact, daily terrestrial and boat excursions take visitors to see a jungle paradise, the home of Taino Indians for thousands of years. Christopher Columbus described the island and its people "there is not a better country or better people in the world that these" when he reported back to Queen Isabella some 500 years ago. Whether you are excited by hiking a jungle trail to see Taino Indian rock art or prefer to snorkel and relax on the white sands of Saona Island, the Dominicus Beach Club is the place to stay.
Typical activities might include windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, day/night tennis, archery, golf putting green and a driving range. Other guest options include aerobics, water aerobics, gym/weight room, water polo, beach volleyball, table tennis, soccer, live entertainment, performing theater, disco, children's program and a movie theater. Still more optional activities include SCUBA diving, waterskiing, banana boat rides, along with boat and land excursions. There is something to do for everyone.
But perhaps it's the staff that sets Club Dominicus apart. They are extremely helpful, friendly and warm. Whether its leading a SCUBA dive or teaching meringue steps, the professional staff insures the guest is pampered and treated to royal hospitality.
We encourage everyone to visit East National Park, and there is no better place to do so than from the Dominicus Beach Club. We'll maybe see you there!! We'll be the ones working!!
