Benwood Bell The Benwood's bell, recovered by a local diver and rung during the dedication ceremony, resides in an area church yard.

Anchor Controversy The anchor which rests nearby the Benwood wreckage is often called the "Benwood Anchor", however Indiana University research indicates that the anchor is not from the same wreck.
