Indiana University is conducting ongoing field studies on the Benwood. The projects have resulted in multiple reports on the site, as well as site plans, underwater photos, and video documentation. Indiana University has worked on the Benwood several times over the years including: July 1987, May 1992, May 1994, March and May 1995, and June 1996.
