Phallic Potiza Neck with Caritas

Design: The neck has incised line curves
between two symmetrically placed, carved figurines. The neck extends up to
a bulbous head.
Size: Height 18.4cm, Width at mouth 2.5cm,
Width of phallic top 6.5cm, Greatest width 12.7cm
Condition: The neck is in good condition but
the body of the vessel has broken off at the base of the neck.
Color: Brownish tan on the exterior
and black on the interior.
Temper: Grit

Comments: The neck appears to be the top
portion of a water container. The base of the neck is
decorated with an incised line design. This design includes a circle,
exhibited on both sides, symetrically placed, with large(0.9cm)
center punctations.
