Rattle Caritas

Design: The most notable feature is an open
slit that is cut into the top of the figure's head. Inside the cavity is a
small ball of clay which creates a rattle. The figure is in the general
shape of a face with large eyes and some type of head dress.
Size: Height: 6.4cm and Width: 7.0cm
Condition: The piece appears to have been a
jug handle for a pot. The figurine and the handle portion are both
intact.
Color: Red/Brown with areas of black
Temper: None recognizable
